Laura Dare

Laura Dare is the Project Manager for the NILRC (Network of Illinois Learning Resources in Community Colleges) project, Information Literacy for the 21st-Century Learner: Preparing Students to Learn for Life, funded by a National Leadership Grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. She is also a reference and instruction librarian at Moraine Valley Community College, in Palos Hills, Illinois. At Moraine Valley, Laura has been a coordinator for the annual Information Literacy Summit, a conference for librarians and other educators interested in information literacy and its role in lifelong learning. Laura holds an M.L.I.S. degree from Dominican University.
