Robert Wedgeworth

Robert Wedgeworth is the President & CEO of ProLiteracy Worldwide, the world's largest non-governmental literacy training organization. Mr. Wedgeworth initiated the organization of The National Coalition for Literacy, is on the advisory board of Syracuse University's School of Information Studies and is a member of the advisory committee for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Access to Learning Award (2003-2004). He is the former dean of the School of Library Service at Columbia University, former executive director of the American Library Association (ALA) and the former president of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions.
