Stephanie Fazenbaker Race Stephanie Fazenbaker Race is the Assistant Director at NEFLIN, the Northeast Florida Library Information in Orange Park, Florida. She is responsible for managing several NEFLIN services, including continuing education, customized training, Union List of Serials, and courier delivery. She designs and produces marketing tools and publications. She assists the Executive Director with grant planning, budgeting, and writing. Joey Rodger Joey Rodger is the Executive Director of the Pendle Hill Peace Center in Wallingford, Pennsylvania. Jill Rodriguez Jill Rodriguez is the Director of the Bensenville Community Public Library District, Bensenville, Illinois. Bensenville is a diverse community located twelve miles west of Chicago, directly adjacent to O'Hare International Airport. Ms. Rodriguez has written and administered numerous federal and state grants to serve immigrant populations, including ESL and Family Literacy Programs, and she has been recognized throughout Illinois for her unique approach to library service. Carrie Russell Carrie Russell is Copyright Specialist for the Office for Information Technology Policy at the American Library Association in the Washington Office. She is author of the best-selling book, Complete Copyright (2004), and numerous articles on copyright and information policy that have appeared in such journals as Library Trends, Library Issues, Public Libraries, and Library Journal, and pens a popular monthly column "Carrie on ©" in School Library Journal. Gary Sarpy Gary Sarpy is a Chicago native, born on the north side. Gary has worked in the English education field since 2000 and in the Latino community since 2002. His past volunteerism includes the Chicago Leadership Cooperative, the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance, and Chicago University's Technology Camp for Children at Risk. Gary currently holds the position of Adult Education Coordinator at Gads Hill Center, a not-for-profit, community based organization located in the heart of Chicago's predominantly Hispanic Pilsen neighborhood in the Lower West Side community. Gary is responsible for designing ESL program (English as a Second Language) curriculum for over 150 adult learners annually. His Adult Volunteer Literacy program, as sponsored by the Secretary of the state of Illinois, Jesse White, Literacy Office, is exclusively staffed by volunteer ESL tutors. Aaron Schmidt Aaron Schmidt is the author of the weblog walkingpaper.org where we writes about library technology and library usability. As webmaster of the Thomas Ford Memorial Library, he uses weblog software to manage the library's website. He has presented internationally on the topic of library technologies, including instant messaging, weblogs, and information gadgets. He was selected as a 2005 Library Journal Mover and Shaker. John D. Shank John received his Masters from Drexel's School of Library and Information Science. Since entering the field in 1996 he has worked in various capacities at several academic institutions, including: Montgomery County Community College, Haverford College, and Bryn Mawr College. Currently, he is the Instructional Design Librarian and newly appointed director of the Center for Learning Technologies for Pennsylvania State University’s, Berks-Lehigh Valley College. He has assisted over 80 full- and part-time Penn State faculty and librarians in adopting ANGEL courseware in their instruction. John has presented numerous faculty development workshops at various universities and colleges, given presentations at regional and national conferences, and has been an invited Presenter about and co-authored articles on the topic of integrating library services into courseware.
