Susan Abbe, PhD, MS, RN

Dr. Abbe served as the first president of Wilcox College of Nursing in Connecticut. Prior to Wilcox, she held administrative and faculty positions at the Ona M. Wilcox School of Nursing and held administrative and faculty positions at Middlesex Community Technical College, and Central Connecticut State University. Susan was with the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) since 1994. In 2001, Susan was appointed Director of Accreditation Services, where she was responsible for various aspects of the accreditation process. Susan has recently accepted the position of assistant Dean for Nursing and Allied Health, St. Vincent’s College, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
