Geraldine "Polly" Bednash, PhD, MSN, RN, FAA

Dr. Bednash has served as the Executive Director of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) since December, 1989. Previously, she headed the association’s legislative advocacy efforts. Dr. Bednash is the Vice President for Nursing of the Health Professions Education Council of the Association of Academic Health Centers and a member of the editorial board of several leading nursing publications, including Nursing Spectrum.
