Jennifer L. Bissett, BA, MEd, PhD

Jennifer L. Bissett was awarded a B.A. in biology and psychology from the University of St. Thomas (Houston), and an M.Ed. in Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston. Dr. Bissett has worked in college/university student retention for over 10 years, and has worked specifically in the area of nursing student retention since 2003. Her efforts in nursing programs have been very successful, with evidence of as much as 20 percent increases in student retention in programs where she has consulted and worked.
