Deanne Couey, MS, BSN, RN

Ms. Couey spent her first 6 years as an RN “loving the action” of the surgical intensive care unit, as a staff nurse, and then as unit manager of a post-anesthesia care unit. She also was a nursing consultant for the medical company, Hill-Rom, where for 6 years she focused on skin care, wound management, and nursing education. Deanne teaches in the AND program at North Arkansas College and is the nurse planner, developing continuing education workshops for healthcare professionals. She is currently presenting her work on concept maps at national conferences.
