Kathleen Walsh Free, M.S.N., R.N.-C. A.R.N.P.

Ms. Free is an Associate Clinical Professor of Nursing at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, Indiana. Kathleen received a B.S.N. from Indiana University, an M.S.N. from Ball State University, and post-Master’s certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from the University of Louisville.

 

She has over 20 years of experience in adult medical-surgical nursing in community hospitals with a managerial focus in adult orthopedic and oncology nursing. She is the author of the What If? critical thinking games, and the ElderLife game, winner of a 1999 Metroversity award for instructional design. She has been a faculty member in nursing education for a decade.
