Clara J. Richardson, MSN, RN, BC

Professor Richardson was awarded a BSN from DePaul University and an MSN from Indiana University.  She has been on the faculty at Purdue University School of Nursing since 1981. Currently, she is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatric Nursing and Director of the School’s Center for Nursing History, Ethics, Human Rights, and Innovations.

Professor Richardson has written articles on nursing education and a book chapter on Hemophilia.  She received an Excellence in Education Award in 1999 and a Chapter Excellence Award in 2003 from Sigma Theta Tau Delta Omicron Chapter.  She was included in the 2004 edition of Who’s Who Among American Teachers. Professor Richardson is a Community Level Trainer for the Brazelton Touchpoints Center and a certified Baby Talk Practitioner.
