Robin Toms, PhD, MSN, RN, CS, CNAA, BC

Dr. Toms spent the first 10 years of her nursing career working in acute care, infection control, case auditing, hospice, and home care. Robin taught medical-surgical nursing and critical care in an ADN program for the next 8 years. Interested in administration, Robin enrolled in a doctoral program and spent the next 3 years in an administrative position as director of a medical care center. She spent the following 5 years as a director of human resources for a health system. Her current position as Director of Nursing Professional Development and Education for The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center allows her to combine nursing, education, and administration.
